Wellevate shut down — how to keep buying the same brands
Wellevate closed in 2023 and its dispensary system merged into Fullscript, so you can request a free practitioner link and keep ordering the same brands from a verified source.
The short answer
Wellevate shut down and its dispensary platform merged into Fullscript in 2023. If you used to order through a practitioner's Wellevate link, you now need a Fullscript link to buy the same professional brands. You can get free self-signup access here — no appointment required.
Nothing about the products changed. The same brands, the same direct-from-manufacturer sourcing, and the same third-party verification carried over. Only the login page is different.
What happened to Wellevate
Wellevate was a practitioner dispensary — a way for licensed providers to give patients access to professional-grade supplement brands. In 2023 its parent company retired the Wellevate platform and moved everything into Fullscript, a larger dispensary that runs the same closed-loop sourcing model. Existing accounts and brand catalogs were migrated over.
The practical result: your old Wellevate practitioner link no longer works. To keep buying the same brands, you need a link to a Fullscript dispensary. Getting one is free and takes a couple of minutes.
Why the source matters (not just the label)
Professional brands sell through practitioner dispensaries on purpose — it keeps their products inside a verified supply chain instead of open marketplaces where anyone can list anything. That matters because supplements are loosely policed once they leave the manufacturer:
- Mislabeling is common. A JAMA-published analysis of immune-support supplements found 17 of 30 products were mislabeled — the contents didn't match the label.
- Freshness is a real problem. One analysis of fish-oil products found roughly 45% were rancid (oxidized) — a quality-verification issue you can't see from the outside.
- Counterfeits circulate. There are documented cases of counterfeit supplements sold with copied lot numbers designed to pass a quick authenticity check.
- Marketplaces aren't authorized. Many professional brands explicitly do not authorize third-party marketplace sellers, so a listing there may be diverted, expired, or fake — with no way to confirm.
What "closed-loop" sourcing actually means
The reason to order through a dispensary link instead of a random online seller is the chain of custody. A closed-loop system means the products are shipped direct from the brand, held in climate-controlled NSF-registered cGMP facilities, and subjected to blind third-party testing before they reach you. That's what lets you verify authenticity and quality — the thing an open marketplace can't offer.
This is about sourcing and verification, not about what any product does. It simply means when you reorder, you're getting the genuine item, stored correctly, from the manufacturer's own supply.
How to get access again
You don't need an appointment or a paid account to reorder. Request a free self-signup link to the dispensary, create your own login, and search for the brands you used on Wellevate. Your cart, your choices — the practitioner link just unlocks the verified catalog. If a brand you used isn't showing up, it may be listed under its full manufacturer name, so search that.
I'm a PA-C and this is my own Fullscript® dispensary — I may earn a portion of sales. Similar products are available from other retailers. Full disclosure
Common questions
Answered
Is Wellevate really gone for good?
Yes. The Wellevate platform was retired in 2023 and its dispensary system was merged into Fullscript. Old Wellevate practitioner links no longer work, so you need a Fullscript link to reorder.
Can I still buy the exact same brands I ordered on Wellevate?
In most cases, yes. The professional brand catalogs carried over during the migration. Search by the brand's full name inside the dispensary if a familiar product doesn't appear right away.
Does it cost anything to get a new link?
No. Self-signup access to the dispensary is free, and you don't need an appointment. You create your own account and order directly.
Why not just buy these brands on Amazon or another marketplace?
Many professional brands don't authorize marketplace sellers, so those listings can be diverted, expired, or counterfeit — including documented cases of copied lot numbers. A dispensary link keeps you inside the verified, direct-from-brand supply chain.
What does "closed-loop" or "verified sourcing" mean?
It means products ship direct from the manufacturer, are stored in climate-controlled NSF-registered cGMP facilities, and undergo blind third-party testing. It's about confirming authenticity and quality, not about any health outcome.
Do I have to become a patient to use the link?
No. The free self-signup link simply unlocks the verified catalog so you can order on your own. No visit or ongoing relationship is required to reorder your brands.
